In Natalia's own words: "TRANS stands mainly for transition and transformation as these songs portray a period of my life of deep change - both emotional and spiritual. There are other words that inspired the album title such as transmission, transcend, transport, transgender, and transmutation. All of these words relate to this body of work in one way or another.

I also wanted to go back to exploring the electronic music genre that has interested me since I started my first music project in Argentina back in 1998. Also, doing so much spiritual work has brought to my attention the New Age music genre. With TRANS, I wanted to merge electronic pop, latin alternative, and healing music."

Growing up in Buenos Aires, Natalia Clavier was immersed in a world of music – classical, jazz, Argentinian folk & pop and Spanish singer songwriters, American soul and protest rock.
